A post World War 2 romantic novella based on a true story–Helga Morgen falls in love with a Russian Army captain on first sight. Ivan is not only tall, blond, clean shaven and handsome, but also rescues the citizens of Berlin who were doomed by the Nazis during the last days of war. With a working knowledge of Russian, Helga gets a job at the Russian headquarters. Ivan is her supervisor and protector. When she disregards a warning, her life is in danger. Helga flees from the Soviet Zone and the man she loves. Will she and Ivan be able to overcome the cold war and get back together?

Books by Ellynore Seybold-Smith

Ellynore Seybold-Smith has recently released her fourth book entitled ERIKA. It is a suspense novel as a sequel to SIGRIT.

SIGRIT, published by Black Opal Books is a historical novel beginning in Germany in 1944 and moves forward 10 years and to America. Erika begins in 1955 and takes place in Maryland, both on land and water.

Her previous book is THE WOODEN MISTRESS, a sea story that is a true story experienced by the author, published by Books Unlimited in 1994 and republished by Createspace in 2013. Another book is ONE COLD NIGHT AND OTHER STORIES also from Createspace in 2013. It is short and very short stories and 3 poems.

At all my appearances I will have copies of SIGRIT along with THE WOODEN MISTRESS and ONE COLD NIGHT AND OTHER STORIES will be available. Your friend and relatives might like to own an author signed copy.

January 14, I will have a presentation and signing at the Wellton Library starting at 2 PM.

January 16 The Newcomers Club of Yuma is doing me the honor by allowing me to be the guest speaker at their  monthly meeting. That takes place at the Yuma Country Club around noon.
