I recently had an appearance on Tosha Michelle’s radio show La Literati, the piece was recorded on April 18, 2016, click HERE to go listen!
One of our local libraries was holding a Art and Poetry Exhibit, they asked for local poets to submit pieces then let local artists choose among them to make an art piece inspired by the poem. I submitted two poems and both were chosen by different artists, one of them, done by Laurie Taylor, was selected by the peoples choice as their favorite representation. Here is both the painting and the poem.
THE MONUMENT
A black granite wall,
58165 names,
Honor comes too late.
Good-bye my son,
You now are part,
Of the new Wailing Wall.
About a year and a half ago I visited the Classic Yacht Club of America in Maryland. I told them about the early days of the club and when we were charter members. They made me an honorary member. You can hear my story here.
I was recently on a radio show, you can listen to it here.

“Seybold_Smith writes a touching tale of second-chance love and forgiveness with charming characters and real-life experiences that makes you think the author has been there and knows what she is talking about.” Taylor Jones, Reviewer
“RELEASED is a poignant and heart-warming story of second chances, courage, and the scars that domestic abuse can leave on its innocent victims. Seybold-Smith has constructed a good solid lot with endearing and intriguing characters that tug at your heartstrings.” Regan Murphy, Reviewer
